 COMPLECT ECOLOGY

Is the parent enterprise of the Group of companies which exercises control over projects in Russian Federation and CIS. The Group of Companies includes research-and-development and analytical Center, laboratory, several branch establishments: "Ecology-Vodstroy" (Moscow, Russia), "KOMEKOPROM"
(Tver region, Russia) and representation in the Ukraine - "Complect Ecology - Ukraine"
(Dnepropetrovsk city).
NONCHEMICAL WATER PREPARATION (TREATMENT) PLANT OF NWT TYPE

Ecological group of companies "Complect Ecology" carries out the whole work package:

  • Integrated project management;
  • Engineering investigations;
  • Definite technological water treatment schemes development;
  • Designing;
  • Integration and delivery;
  • Assembling and chief-assembling;
  • Balancing and commissioning;
  • Maintenance staff training;
  • After-sales maintenance.

  • Brief technology description

    Plant of NWT (Nonchemical Water Treatment) type is meant to meet "drinking water" standards according to the requirements of SanRaC (Sanitary Regulations and Code) 2.1.4.1074-01 "Drinking water. Hygienic requirements to centralized drinking water supply systems quality. Quality control". The Plant has been designed according to modular approach which enables easily to adapt it to definite conditions and requirements of the Customer. Applied technology enables to carry out deep (complete) water treatment whereas biologically important for human organism microelements (Ca, Mg, K, F etc.) remain in the water after treatment. All used filtering materials are chemical-resistant and biologically inactive; the materials neither contain nor excrete any biologically active components in filtrate. Our company does not use RO (Reverse Osmosis) technology, therefore vital composition of mineral salts created in natural conditions remain unchanged. The Plant is adapted for the preparation (treatment) of water coming from any freshwater ponds, artesian wells, decentralized water-supply systems.

    Maximum permissible impurity density in water inlet:
  • Coloration - 300 degrees
  • Turbidity - 150 mg/l
  • Iron - 15 mg/l
  • Manganese - 2 mg/l
  • Hydrogen sulphide - 15mg/l
  • Harshness - 7 mg/l
  •
    Technological stages of water treatment:
  • Preliminary treatment of coarsely
    dispersed impurity;
  • Aeration, ozone treatment;
  • Filtering through catalytic filter media;
  • Adsorption on activated carbons;
  • UV water disinfection.

  • Equipment of the Plant is made of modern durable materials for operating period not less than 10 years. By request of the Customer it is possible to make essential technological equipment of stainless steel.

    By request of the Customer it is possible to produce the module container type Plant. Technical container is designed depending on climatic conditions of operation. The Plant at capacity of 30-150 m3/day can be produced of module container type. The Plant at capacity of more than 150 m3/day is assemblaged in buildings which can be quickly erected.

    General advantages of NWT technology as compared with standard ones:

    • Total absence of toxic waste disposal into environment (environmentally appropriate technology).
    • The absence of both chemical reagents when preparing (treating) water and reagents warehouse respectively.
    • Extra long-term service cycles (3 months and more);
    • Significant operational costs reduction and working conditions improvement (acid dust from coagulants is absent in the air).
    BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF NONCHEMICAL DRINKING WATER
    PREPARETION (TREATMENT) TECHNOLOGY

    The influent water from the water source comes into filter bank (2) of mechanical treatment of coarsely dispersed impurity. Then water goes through the ozone treatment unit (3) or compressor for the saturation of influent water by ozone-oxygen mixture which results in resistance collapse of impurity contained in the influent water. That enables to promote the process of oxidation (F, Mn, organic compounds) without reagents application. Pretreated water freely streams in the block of influent water units (4) in order to eliminate carbonic acid and residual oxygen.

    From the block (4) of influent water units the water by means of the pump (1.2) is fed to the filter-oxidizers unit (5) with catalytic, multi-layer, granular percolation bed inside, where the organic substances oxidation, mechanical dirt(impurities) interception and ferrous hydroxide takes place. Purification efficiency makes up 90-100%. Sorption filters unit (6) with activated carbon (argentums-impregnated and without it) is installed for the pretreated water organoleptic indicators improvement.

    In case of after treatment by request of the Customer the filters unit (7) of thorough mechanical treatment (net space size 3-0,5 mkm) is installed.

    Then water is disinfected by ultraviolet irradiation at unit (8) and goes to the drinking water storage reservoir (9), from which the drinking water is supplied by the pump (1.3) to consumer.

    As soon as limiting value of pressure loss at filter is achieved, it is rinsed by reverse water flow supplied form the rinsing water pumps unit (10). After filter unloading rinsing waters are discharged into sewerage or to the relief after consideration with the state sanitary-epidemiologic inspection centre, because rinsing waters do not contain toxic compounds. Service cycles are 3 months and more.

    The disinfection of both water treatment equipment and water-supply system is carried out by regular chlorination by the way of chlorine gas feeding to the main technological pipeline. Chlorine is fed to the water by means of chlorine dosing unit installed at chlorine container (12).
