CONSTRUCTION OF BIG STF

The essential basis in the process of sewerage treatment facilities (STF) construction is the combination of both scientific-research activity results and the practical experience.

The main criterion of the company is the intensive technologies and international recognition.

Basic demands to projects are the following:
  • The possibility of stage-by-stage reconstruction;
  • Lump-sum costs decrease;
  • Reduction of follow-up capital investment;
  • The maximum use of the existing facilities cubic capacity;
  • Increase of effectiveness of wastewater treatment including bioorganic elements (nitrogen and phosphorus);
  • Increase of sustainability and reliability of technological processes and equipment.
Reconstruction of mechanical treatment facilities:
  • Small bar space bar screens;
  • Rubbish dewatering and pressing;
  • Sediment catchers with sand dewatering;
  • Sand flushing-out;
  • Module container type Stations construction and construction in the existing tanks.
Advantages: the subsequent technological processes load decrease, sediment decrease when clarifying, sand areas decrease, normative sanitary conditions assurance on the area of sewerage treatment facilities.


Reconstruction of primary and secondary sewage tanks:
  • Supplying existing sewage tanks with tube settler profiles;
  • Equipping existing sewage tanks with filtration shield.
Advantages: Capacity and treatment effectiveness increase.


Reconstruction of aerated tanks:
  • Introduction of different nitrification-denitrification processes;
  • The use of special plastic media for fixed biocenosis development adopted to the definite water treatment phase and local conditions.
Advantages: intensification of biological processes, significant reduction of excess activated sludge growth as a result of successive use of trophic correlation, minimal expenses on sludge and sediment recycling, increased biocenosis stability towards extreme situations (irregularity of load, temperature, pH, energy consumption, etc.); increase of effectiveness of wastewater treatment including bioorganic elements, increase of sustainability and reliability of technological processes and equipment.


Aeration systems reconstruction:
  • Application of different types of small bubbling aeration including local aeration by means of submersible aerators (with the maintenance of optimal pH, rH, oxygen in each zone of the aeration tank).
Advantages: the replacement of traditional blowers, reduction of operating expenses on power due to loss absence in the systems of blowers, the possibility of automatic control over redox processes, the necessity exclusion of the additional buildings construction for blowers with ventilation and heating.


Aerated tanks loading:
  • polymeric media for fixed biocenosis;
  • the square of specific surface is equal up to 300 m2/m3 of the loading (filter media);
  • metallized plastic media for nonchemical dephosphotation.
Advantages: intensification of biological treatment process, simultaneous of redox processes, complete biogenic elements removal.
